As the Hampton Inn brand implements our Take Care initiatives, we will soon replace the Styrofoam and plastic cups in guest rooms with an eco-friendly version. Hampton Inn needs to make a decision about whether or not to wrap the new cups in cellophane. While eliminating the cellophane is eco-friendly and cost effective, we’d like your thoughts on guest perception. Wrapping our cups is a long tradition with the brand, and we want to validate that it is still a relevant guest expectation. While there is a cost difference of approximately $.03 per cup, meeting guest expectations is priceless.
